Saint Louis Shuffleboard Club

Rumor has it that prior to 2013 Saint Louis shuffleboard players roamed the streets, sticks in hand, searching desperately for fellow shuffleboard players.  A young (age is relative, isn't it?) fellow named Glen discovered long abandoned courts at Des Peres Park and said to himself, "By Jove, I shall form a group of shuffleboard players and dub them, "'The Saint Louis Shuffleboard Club."' The club had humble beginnings but over time word spread and the membership grew.  At first play was restricted to the 3 outside courts at Des Peres Park. But in 2015, young Glen had another great idea - why not move the games inside during the winter?  He began to collect funds from his fellow players to purchase an indoor court, and his vision became a reality when he arranged for the Gateway Salvation Army Community Center to host our games.  The rest as they say, is history.  The Saint Louis Shuffleboard Club welcomes everyone who enjoys playing the game.  If you don't know the game yet, we'll be glad to teach you.
